ARUP will team up with Atlas Medical to give presentations on implementing successful lab-outreach programs and EMR integration
SALT LAKE CITY, July 14, 2010—ARUP Laboratories is pleased to announce that it is sending a full contingent to the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) 2010 Annual Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo, taking place July 25–29 in Anaheim, Calif.
In addition to posters and educational sessions, ARUP, in partnership with Atlas Medical, will share practical information pertinent to the recent HITECH Act, laboratory outreach, and EMR solution implementation. These presentations will occur every hour on the hour at ARUP’s booth, number 2420.
“We look forward to this show each year because it is the leading trade show for our industry,” said Edward Ashwood, MD, president and CEO of ARUP Laboratories. “This year’s show comes on the heels of some big developments in the health care industry, and we are eager to keep the conversation moving forward. This show is also where we rub shoulders with many of the leading minds in clinical chemistry and laboratory science, and where we have the chance to showcase the science that serves as the backbone for many of our laboratory services.”
At this year’s annual meeting, ARUP medical directors, researchers, and staff will display more than 20 posters and participate in nine different educational sessions on a variety of topics, ranging from laboratory testing and science to laboratory administration.
