Patient Prep: Test is performed on patients with warm autoantibodies who have been pregnant or transfused within the past 3 months.
Collect: Plain red AND lavender (EDTA).
Specimen Preparation:Do not freeze red cells. Transport 10 mL whole blood (plain red) AND 7 mL whole blood (EDTA) in original collection tubes. Pediatric: Transport 3 mL whole blood (plain red) AND 2 mL whole blood (EDTA) in original collection tubes.
Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated.
