Collect: One 7 mL plain red, gray (sodium fluoride/potassium oxalate), green (sodium heparin), lavender (EDTA), or pink (K2EDTA).
Storage/Transport Temperature: 2 mL serum or plasma at 2-8°C. (Min: 1 mL) Submit specimen in an ARUP Standard Transport Tube.
Remarks: Remove serum or plasma from cells ASAP.
Unacceptable Conditions: Separator tubes.
Stability (collection to initiation of testing): Ambient: 2 weeks; Refrigerated: 2 weeks; Frozen: 13 months
