Ladonna Bradley, MT(ASCP)
Senior Healthcare Consultant
Ask me about: Technical operations, regulatory and compliance issues, quality management systems
Ladonna knows her way around the laboratory. She began her career on the bench as a medical technologist, picking up specialized skills in chemistry and hematology before becoming a lab director, a position she held for 15 years. Like many in laboratory science, Ladonna’s career pursuits were, in part, tied to her own healthcare and a years-long health issue that tests and scans could not pinpoint until a clinician who understood lab work solved the problem. Ladonna said her questions about test selection, results, and outcomes helped her find her career. Over her 25-year career, Ladonna has worked for a variety of hospital systems and laboratories, including Quest Diagnostics. Her experience also includes training as a volunteer lab inspector through the College of American Pathologists (CAP), which gives her a solid footing to help ARUP clients assess their operations, instrumentation, policies, and procedures. Ladonna works for ARUP from Tennessee, where she has lived for most of her life. She and her husband have an adult son, who is also headed into healthcare. In their free time, Ladonna and her husband love to hike and canoe in the area’s mountains and waterways.
