Prior to joining the Healthcare Advisory Services team at ARUP, Chris spent 15 years working for Northern Light Health, one of the largest health systems in Maine. Chris began his career in the laboratory working as a medical laboratory assistant while completing his bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science (MLS) from the University of Maine. Chris went on to work as a medical laboratory scientist in the hematology, chemistry, and microbiology departments for three years before being promoted to evening shift technical supervisor. He became interested in laboratory business operations and went back to school to attain his MBA with a focus in healthcare administration from Husson University. In 2015, Chris was promoted to business operations manager of Northern Light Laboratory, where he grew the lab’s outreach business and served as the laboratory’s safety officer, preanalytics manager, and education manager, and oversaw the Eastern Maine Medical Center School of Medical Laboratory Science program.
In his spare time, Chris serves on the committee for the Northeast Laboratory Conference, the largest clinical laboratory conference in New England.
Born and raised in Maine, Chris enjoys hiking, fishing, and camping with his wife and three young children.
