SALT LAKE CITY—ARUP today announced that it has received the 2021 Supplier Legacy Award from Premier Inc., a leading healthcare improvement company.
The prestigious award recognizes ARUP, a leading national reference laboratory with hospital and health system clients in all 50 states, for its long-standing support of Premier members through exceptional customer service and engagement, value creation through clinical excellence, and commitment to lower costs.
“ARUP is honored to receive this award in recognition of our shared values, particularly in a year when the COVID-19 pandemic profoundly affected all aspects of healthcare delivery,” said Stephanie Millikan, ARUP vice president of national contracts. “We are committed to working together as partners to drive better patient care.”
“To be recognized for the services that we provide is the highest compliment; it’s exactly who we strive to be and what defines ARUP as a company,” added Julie Altwies, chief business development officer for ARUP, which on June 15, 2021, officially opened a new state-of-the-art laboratory facility in Salt Lake City to help meet continued market demands.
To be considered for a Supplier Legacy Award, companies must have a tenure of more than three years as a Premier contracted supplier.
“ARUP supports Premier members by offering valuable products and services that help to lower supply chain costs and improve operating efficiencies,” said David A. Hargraves, Premier’s senior vice president of supply chain. “We’re honored to recognize them as a Legacy Award recipient.”
